Indoor Baseball Training During the Off-Season
The off-season is one of the best times for players to improve.
Without the pressure of games and team schedules, players can focus on building better mechanics, cleaner habits, and more confidence before the next season starts.
Off-season training is available for hitting, fielding, and first base development, with sessions adapted to each player’s age, skill level, and goals.
What The Program Includes
Off-season training can focus on one area or combine multiple areas depending on what the player needs most.
Training options include:
- Hitting Training
- Fielding & Defence Training
- First Base Training
Sessions may be run 1-on-1, in pairs, or in small groups depending on availability, facility space, and the type of training being requested.

Training may include:
- Tee work
- Front toss / soft toss
- Pitching machine work

- Strike-zone awareness
- Mechanical adjustments based on the player’s swing
The goal is to help players make better contact, hit the ball harder, improve consistency, and understand their swing more clearly.
Fielding & Defence Training
Fielding sessions focus on building cleaner defensive fundamentals and more confidence in game situations.
Training may include:
- Ground balls
- Footwork
- Glove work
- Throwing mechanics
- Short hops
- Fly balls and pop-ups
- Defensive positioning
- Game-like reps
The goal is to reduce errors, improve reactions, build better movement, and help players become more reliable defenders.

First base training may include:

- Picks and scoops
- Holding runners
- Pick-off awareness

- Game awareness
The goal is to help players become more confident, more reliable, and more effective around first base.
